24/7i - is an intercessory prayer ministry located at the intersection of I-24 / 75. This site has both historical and spiritual significance as the former Brainerd Mission, which was the first gospel outpost to this region, and was established to reach the local Cherokee Indians. It became a multi ethnic and multicultural work that was labeled a 'model mission' and served as a training ground and launching pad for other mission works. The Christian missionaries who founded it dedicated this land to God for His divine use. They chose to name it in honor of David Brainerd a missionary to the American Indians in New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. Brainerd was known for living a life devoted to passionate intercessory prayer resulting in miraculous demonstrations of God's power and a great harvest of souls.
The 24/7i room design is based upon the pattern, or model, prayer given by Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13. There are stations set up around the room's perimeter to aid intercessors in focusing on the key issues identified in scripture as 'prayer mandates'. Technological incorporation include recorded or live worship feeds and a touch screen for receiving text or e-mail prayer request from anywhere in the world.
